Creative Alternative Provision
Our Creative Alternative Provision is designed for young people aged approximately 11–16 who need a calm, flexible alternative to a traditional learning environment.
Sessions are creative, interest led and deliberately low demand.
Young people work alongside experienced mentors in a small, supportive environment where relationships and regulation come first.
Rather than following a traditional curriculum, we begin with the young person.
Depending on their interests and needs, sessions might involve drawing, painting, textiles, printmaking, craft, photography, portfolio development or simply having time and space to explore different creative materials without pressure.
Young people may follow different pathways depending on what feels appropriate for them, including:
· Creative exploration and regulation
· Portfolio building
· Arts Award, supported through our partner assessor
Our aim is not to recreate school. It is to help young people reconnect with their interests, confidence and capacity to engage.
Places are arranged directly with families, schools, local authorities or other professionals.
Payment is by invoice.

1:1 Creative Mentors
Our 1:1 mentoring starts with the young person, not a predetermined programme.
We carefully match children and young people with mentors according to personality, interests, experience and the things they genuinely enjoy.
That might be art, sewing, making, nature, cooking, music, gaming, practical activities or something entirely different.
Shared interests can create an invaluable starting point for connection.
Our mentors provide a calm, consistent adult relationship without the pressures that a young person may associate with formal education.
For some young people, the first goal may simply be getting comfortable with another person.
Over time this might grow into trying something new, leaving the house, developing a skill, completing a project or beginning to reconnect with learning.
Progress looks different for everyone.
Our role is to meet the young person where they are and build from there.
1:1 mentoring is available for children and young people and can be commissioned by families, schools, local authorities or other organisations.
Payment is by invoice.

Nurture Breakfast Club
Our Nurture Breakfast Clubs offer children a gentler start to the school day.
Rather than rushing straight from arrival into the demands of the classroom, children have an opportunity to settle, connect and regulate through calm creative activities and supportive relationships.
Sessions are designed to feel welcoming and low pressure.
Children might draw, make, create, chat or simply spend some time alongside a trusted adult before beginning their school day.
The emphasis is on emotional regulation, connection and helping children feel ready for what comes next.
Our Nurture Breakfast Clubs are commissioned directly by schools.

Creative Sessions in Care Homes
Our care home sessions are about much more than making art.
They provide opportunities for creativity, conversation, connection and enjoyment.
Our experienced art facilitators deliver accessible creative sessions that can be adapted to different physical abilities, levels of confidence and experience.
Projects are designed to feel contemporary, engaging and achievable, with plenty of scope for residents to make their own choices.
There is no expectation that somebody needs to be “good at art”.
The value can be in making something, trying something new, remembering an old skill, talking around a table or simply enjoying being part of a group.
We currently work with care homes across Sussex.
